- School of Communication leadership sought me out when in need of an instructor
- Led JOUR 150: Introduction to Journalistic Writing and Editing during 1-hour and 20-minute-long class sessions twice weekly for 16 weeks
- Discussed basics of journalistic writing, editing and ethics, grammar and AP style basics and guided newswriting final projects
- Adapted engaging teaching techniques to hyflex teaching model, which included two cohorts alternating between sessions online and in-person with 12 students.

- Discusses "What makes something news?," news values, fake news and fact-checking strategies, tactics and tools
- Led the hourlong presentation 20 times for visiting high school groups as the center's graduate assistant and a handful of times as guest speaker in Point Park journalism classes

Sexual Harassment Hits Home panel for "Building Bridges" SPJ Region 4 Conference — March 10, 2018
- Plenary session opening the conference, which had more than 100 students and professionals from Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio in attendance
- Discussed the #MeToo movement and its effect on women journalists, and how news organizations handle — or should handle — misconduct in their ranks.
